Sweet Potato flavored Tortilla Chips by Food Should Taste Good

A coupon for Beyond Meat

Products I like/Looking forward to try
  • The Popcorn  was one of the items that I tried at The Green Festival this past weekend and liked so finding it in this month's box was a pleasant surprise.
  • The coupon for Beyond Meat was another nice surprise because I purchased their southwestern style Chik'n recently and was looking forward to repurchasing it
  • Finding Teese Vegan cheese was very exciting, I have been wanting to try their cheese for sometime. It melts very well and would work great for a grilled cheese!
  • Although my brother ate most of it I did try the Sweet Potato flavored tortilla chips and liked them well enough. It has a hint of sweet potato, not to overpowering.
Products I am undecided on/Don't really care for
  • I wasn't exactly thrilled by both Protein items from 22 nutritional only because I don't usually use protein powders or eat protein bars. I already have a few protein bars stocked up from previous boxes and have yet to try any of them.
  • The products I was the most disappointed in was Oloves only because I do not like olives. I gave them to my sister who likes olives and lemon, thinking she would like them but she did not. She described them as being greasy.
  • I'm curious to see what the Red pepper and artichoke spread tastes but I am hesitant at the same time.
  • I normally don't like tea but seeing the Teecino Herbal coffee piqued my interest. I have yet to find a tea that I like but since this has hints of carob and hazelnuts I am looking towards to trying it.

All in all I am really glad with the products that I received in this month's box. In comparison to the boxes I have received in previous month's I am most likely to use the majority of the items included. I really think vegancuts is a great subscription service that always try's to include a variety of different products each month.

BULU BOX: APRIL

I'm back with an unboxing post of a subscription box called BULU box. It is a monthly subscription service that provides you with samples of vitamins, supplements and health products. Like the other subscription box services you can sign up for a month to month basis or 3,6, or 12 months (from $10-$110). I found out about this box service through an instagram  user who told me to check out her blog for more information and a coupon code! Her blog can be found here , check her out for reviews on different subscription services!
Using her coupon code I was able to get my first box free! Since I wasn't sure if there would be products that I could use I opted for trying the first box and then making a decision on whether I want to continue using the service. Here are the products included in the box

This is how the box looks

It comes with a card inside giving you information on all the products that are included for that month

Now onto what's inside
A packet of an Energy shot by Natural Energy

Pack of Energy Pills by Shroom Tech

A chocolate cherry real food bar by Barre

A packet of Self tanning lotion with glove by Denese

A 30 minute workout DVD

Items I am looking forward to trying/or have tried
  • The workout dvd  is probably the one item in the box I'm most excited about trying
  • The real food bar is another one I'd like to try even though I have been sent one before in a different box (conscious box
  • Although I will not be using the self tanner since I gave it away to a friend I am interested in seeing the results once it is used
Items I am least likely to try
  • Both the energy pills and shot, since I am wary of taking energy pills

All in all I think it was a decent box, I didn't really know what to expect when it was sent to me and it was a pleasant surprise to see the different products included. I will try them out for another month to see what other products they will send.

CONSCIOUS BOX: APRIL

Since Earth Day falls within the month of April this month's box was filled with products to encourage more eco-friendly behavior. I have not tried everything in the box so far but I can give my opinion on a few items. I also have a coupon code for 10% off  new subscriptions before April 22nd: "SHARETHEWORLD".

Pumpkin Cookie by Alternative Baking Company

Nacho Bean and Rice Chips by BeanFields

Body Lotion by Totlogic and Floor soap by Enzyme Natural Home

An energy packet by Speednutritionals

A natural Veggie wash by Veggiewash

A Pomegranate Drink mix by Everly
Dark Flavored Chocolate by Wei of chocolate

Packet of baby food by Nurtureme

Scented Facial Cloth by Seventh Generation

Items I've tried

  • The Nacho chips were a nice surprise, if you are looking for a dorito alternative then this is a good option
  • The Pumpkin cookie reminded me of these pumpkin spice cookies my sisters love (which I don't like), the cookie is soft and tastes strongly of nutmeg in my opinion
  • The dark chocolate is very dark with hints of the flavors they included like chai and almond. If you don't like dark chocolate this wouldn't be your thing since it is quite bitter

Items I'm least likely to use

  • The Baby food was the item I was least interested in since I have no children and don't know of anyone who does so that seemed like a waste of a product
  • The energy packet doesn't pique my interest because I am hesitant about taking energy boosting pills so I will most likely give it away
  • The Flavored drink mix is another item I will most likely give away because I have never liked flavored water

What I'm looking forward to using

  • The facial cloth seems interesting and I look forward to using it at some point (for now it will sit in my makeup bag until I need it)
  • I'm keen on using the Veggie wash spray but until I next do my grocery shopping for fruits and veggies it shall stay unopened
  • I will be using the floor soap soon to clean up my wood floors
  • I like trying out different lotions so I will definitely use the totlogic one

Hope you enjoyed this post and until next month's box!

NYC Vegetarian Food Festival: Vegancuts Mystery Bag

Yesterday I attended the Vegetarian food festival, and along with receiving some free samples I also bought a few things. One of the companies in attendance were vegancuts who had a mystery bag that you could buy for $20. Since I was very happy with my last vegancuts box I decided to buy it. Below are the pictures of everything included. I haven't tried anything yet but will within the next week or so.

Everything out of the bag

Cute little button

Ultima were at the festival so I had a chance to try their replenisher's before hand, I was glad to find a sample in the bag
Totally unexpected to get a gift card but still much appreciated

I was so happy to see this included in the bag because I have been wanting one

Same gummy candies that were in their box but these are sours

All in all I'm glad that I did purchase their mystery bag because they included a lot of products I had never heard of or tried. They also included a sticker of willtravelforveganfood . I would recommend signing up for their monthly subscription if you haven't already!

If your interested in seeing what kind of things I picked up at the Vegetarian Festival stay tuned for my next post!
